Cleaning and Hygiene Supplies Buying Guide
Keeping a kitchen, café or takeaway clean and hygienic needs the right everyday consumables. This guide covers our cleaning and hygiene range: refuse sacks, disposable gloves, hand towels, centrefeed and wiper rolls, toilet rolls, wet wipes and masks. It explains what each is for so you can stock up in one order.
Refuse sacks
Our refuse sacks are graded by weight. A higher gram weight means a stronger, thicker sack:
- Heavy duty black sacks for general kitchen waste: 120g Cougar, 120g Jaguar, 140g Pegasus and 160g Champion.
- Extra heavy duty black sacks for heavy or sharp waste: 180g Hercules, 180g Hurricane, 200g Titan (large) and 280g Goliath (large).
- Clear sacks for recycling and mixed waste: 140g recycled Apollo and 200g Athena (large).
- Rubble sacks: 400g Orion blue rubble sacks for building waste and very heavy loads.
For smaller bins, our sacks on rolls come in 80g Polylion50, 80g Polylion20 and 120g Polylion10.
Disposable gloves
Our disposable gloves come in three types:
- Nitrile, powder free: in blue or black, sizes small to XL, cases of 1,000. A strong, popular choice for food prep and cleaning, for example medium blue or large black.
- Vinyl, powder free: in blue or clear, sizes small to XL, cases of 1,000. A cost-effective option for short tasks, for example medium blue or large clear.
- HDPE: clear HDPE gloves, one size, cases of 5,000, for quick tasks like serving at the counter.
Blue gloves are easy to spot if a piece ends up in food, which is why many kitchens choose them.
Hand towels
Our hand towels come in three folds to fit common dispensers:
- C-fold: white 2 ply, blue or green.
- Z-fold: white 2 ply, blue or green.
- V-fold: blue or green.
Check which fold your dispenser takes before ordering.
Centrefeed and wiper rolls
Centrefeed rolls are the kitchen workhorse for wiping surfaces and hands, in blue or white, 6 rolls per case. They come in different roll lengths: Pearl 60m (also in blue), Majestic 90m (also in blue), Saturn 120m (also in blue) and Diamond 150m (also in blue), plus embossed Emerald 120m and Jasper 150m. Longer rolls mean fewer changes.
For bigger jobs, our 350m wiper rolls come in white or blue.
Toilet rolls
For customer and staff washrooms, our toilet rolls include Opal 2 ply 90m, Crystal 2 ply 150m, Jade 2 ply 200m and Majestic 2 ply, plus Lily retail packs in 2 ply 4 packs, 2 ply 9 packs and 3 ply 9 packs.
Wet wipes and masks
Individually packed wet wipes for customers: lemon scented 7 x 5, large lemon scented 10 x 8 and large oud scented 10 x 8. These are ideal with ribs, wings and finger food. We also stock blue 3 ply disposable masks.

FAQs
Nitrile or vinyl gloves? Nitrile gloves are generally stronger and more puncture resistant, and vinyl gloves are a lower-cost option for short, light tasks.
What does the gram weight on sacks mean? It indicates how heavy duty the sack is. A higher number means a stronger sack for heavier waste.
How fast is delivery? Orders placed by 12pm are dispatched for next-day UK delivery (T&Cs apply), with free delivery on orders over £150 ex VAT.
