Burger Boxes Buying Guide

Burger boxes keep burgers hot, stop buns going soggy and make orders easy to stack and carry. We stock four styles: kraft board, corrugated, gourmet and XPP plastic clamshells. This guide explains the differences, the sizes, and which style suits your menu.

Burger box styles compared

• Kraft burger boxes: brown kraft board with a natural look. Available in Large, 105 x 105 x 70mm and XL, 120 x 120 x 70mm, in cases of 500.
• Corrugated burger boxes: corrugated paper with a ventilation design and a secure closure, which helps release steam so buns stay fresher. Available in small, medium and large, in cases of 200.
• Gourmet burger boxes: a premium kraft box with ventilation holes, easy to assemble and stackable, for gourmet burger bars and restaurants. Available in brown kraft (small, large) or black kraft (small, large), in cases of 100.
• XPP burger boxes and clamshells: strong, leak-resistant, stackable and microwave friendly plastic boxes in white or brown. These also suit kebabs, fries and full meals.

XPP burger box and clamshell sizes

• HB7, 5 x 5 inch: a small burger box, in white or brown.
• HB6, 6 x 6 inch: the standard burger box, in white or brown.
• HB9, 7 x 6 inch: a clamshell for burgers with fries or larger portions, in white or brown.
• HB10, 10 x 6 inch: a longer clamshell for kebabs, wraps and meals, in white or brown.
• MB1, 10 x 8 inch, one compartment: a large meal box, in white or brown.
• MB2, 10 x 8 inch, two compartments: keeps mains and sides apart, in white or brown.
• MB3, 10 x 8 inch, three compartments: for meal deals with a main and two sides, in white or brown.

HB sizes come in cases of 200, and MB meal boxes in cases of 150.

Paper or XPP burger boxes?

Choose kraft, corrugated or gourmet paper boxes for a natural look and a more premium, eco-minded presentation. Corrugated and gourmet boxes are vented to let steam escape. Choose XPP when you need extra strength, leak resistance and microwave-friendly boxes, or compartments for meal deals.

How fast is delivery? Orders placed by 12pm are dispatched for next-day UK delivery (T&Cs apply), with free delivery on orders over £150 ex VAT.
