Kraft deli bowls are a versatile takeaway container for salads, poke, rice and noodle dishes, pasta and hot meals. This guide explains round versus rectangular bowls, which size to choose, brown or black, and which lid to use for hot or cold food.

Round or rectangular deli bowls?

Round deli bowls suit bowl food: salads, poke, ramen, rice bowls and anything mixed or stirred. Rectangular deli bowls suit main-and-side meals and layered dishes, pack neatly side by side in delivery bags, and stack well on a counter. Both are made from kraft paperboard and come in natural brown or black.

Which lid do I need: hot or cold?

Lids are sold separately. Choose by what goes in the bowl:

Use PP lids for hot food and PET lids for cold food only. PET isn’t designed for heat.

One round lid covers the 500ml, 750ml and 1000ml bowls, and one rectangular lid covers every rectangular size, so a few lid lines cover the whole range.

Brown or black deli bowls?

Both perform the same. Brown kraft gives a natural, fresh look that suits salad bars and healthy menus. Black gives a bold, premium look that makes colourful food stand out, popular with poke, Asian and street food brands.
